Ingredients
2 tsp baking soda
½ cup filtered or distilled water (find the best water purification systems here)
2 drops tea tree essential oil (find 100% pure essential oils here)
2 drops peppermint essential oil
Instructions
Baking soda will settle to the bottom of the jar when not in use, so be sure to shake your homemade mouthwash before each use. Swish about 2-3 teaspoons of this homemade formula in your mouth for a minute or two. As with any mouthwash, try to avoid swallowing this while gargling.
Ginger & Mint Herb Mouthwash
Ingredients:
Ginger root/Peppermint /Turmeric /Cinnamon
Recipe:
Add everything to about 2 to 3 cups of water in a pot on the stove.
Bring to a low simmer.
Let simmer covered for 25-30 minutes. Keeping in mind that the longer you let it simmer the spicer it will become.
Taste periodically and simmer longer if you’d prefer a stronger flavor, but not going past 45 minutes.
Strain through a very fine strainer into a glass jar.
Let cool and store in the fridge for up to three weeks.
